Hosts create an event, choose free or paid, pick a UK location, and manage attendees from My events.
For paid events, attendees pay the ticket price plus a transparent service fee. The host receives the ticket price; HE Connect receives the service fee.
Only hosts who charge for events need to connect Stripe. Free events can be posted without payments.
The attendee pays the service fee at checkout. The event host receives the listed ticket price.
Free events are joined immediately. Paid events are only marked joined after Stripe confirms payment through the webhook.
Yes, when SMTP settings and user email addresses are configured. Otherwise the app still works normally without email.
