We use this information to provide login access, event discovery, joining tools, host dashboards, payment records, communications, safeguarding, moderation, fraud prevention, and platform administration.
Card and payout details are handled by Stripe or the active payment provider. HE Connect stores payment references, statuses, amounts, refunds, and service fee records, but not full card numbers.
Event hosts can see attendee contact details for their own events. Admins can see records needed to operate, moderate, protect, and support the service. We do not sell personal data.
We may send confirmation, reminder, cancellation, refund, safety, and account emails. You can control non-essential communications from your profile where available.
Audit logs, reports, payment/refund records and account history are kept only as long as needed for service operation, safeguarding, dispute handling, accounting and legal obligations. Current policy is: audit logs up to 6 years, closed reports up to 6 years, payment/refund records up to 6 years, and account data while active plus any essential retained records needed for safety, legal or payment reasons.
You can update profile details, privacy preferences, and communication settings from your account. You can contact the site administrator about access, correction, or removal requests.
We use access controls, admin logging, and payment-provider hosted checkout to reduce risk. No online service can be guaranteed risk-free.
The service is intended for parents/carers and hosts coordinating home-education activities. Adults are responsible for protecting children’s personal information.
